Patient education is important to the success of implant procedure. The doctors at the Koplon Implant & Family Dentistry want you to understand every stage of the procedure to help you experience the best possible benefits. The following describes what you can expect.
The doctor, our team, and you will determine your needs, assess your oral health, review your medical history, and discuss treatment options. We’ll also discuss costs, financing options if necessary, and timing.
Pre-Procedure Exam
Can be same day as Free Consultation
We'll take a 3D CT scan and create a photo-realistic 3D digitalization of your face and jaw area as well as make impressions of your teeth. This exam usually lasts around an hour. We can also discuss sedation options with you at this time.
Surgery Day
During the actual surgery, any teeth – if required – will be removed. Implants are placed in the jaw bone, and you will leave with a temporary set of teeth while your implants heal.
Post-Op Evaluation
You'll come back to our office for a full evaluation to ensure proper healing, aesthetics, and functionality.
Deliver Final Prosthesis
4-9 months following post-op evaluation
The final restoration is permanently attached and the doctor will give a final evaluation of your bite and aesthetics. 4-9 months following post-op evaluationYou'll leave with your new permanent smile and self-confidence, which you can enjoy for the rest of your life!
